The Russian collective BET-M 33 will officially not participate in the upcoming IEM Atlanta 2026. The cause stems from insurmountable visa obstacles—Semyon "Kinqie" Lisitsyn’s team failed to secure the full set of documents required for entry into the United States.

The Russian squad's spot at the tournament will be taken by the Czech roster Sinners, whom BET-M 33 defeated in the qualification final. However, losing the slot is not the only bad news. According to ESL regulations, due to the late withdrawal, the team will face an additional penalty: the forfeiture of their invite to the next Tier-1 tournament hosted by the operator.

As a reminder, IEM Atlanta, featuring a $1,000,000 prize pool, will take place from May 11 to 17.
